Aperture Academy Now Open
I’m pleased to be partnering with Stephen Oachs in his venture, The Aperture Academy, a full service photography studio and classroom. Covering all things photography-related, the building houses a permanent gallery of Stephen’s work and another showcasing different photographers. There’s also a state-of-the-art classroom where Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom classes are conducted. The Academy now offers classes on a wide variety of photography-related subjects, for every skill level. These include entry-level “Photoshop 101″ type classes to in-depth field workshops in a variety of amazing locations. There’s nothing like this anywhere else, and I’m very excited to be a part of it. Our 2009 workshops were a tremendous success, and space is becoming increasingly limited for our 2010 dates. See the Workshops page for a complete listing of all the photography workshops we’ll be hosting this year, and remember – these usually fill up fast!
Project Iceland
I’m setting out this summer to Iceland to work on my first book. I’ll be gone for 65 days, and it’s certain to be a memorable adventure. I have some pretty exciting things planned for this, so check out the Project Iceland page for more details and to find out how you can be a part of the magic.
