Badwater Before The Flood

Badwater-Before-the-Flood

Death Valley National Park. Badwater is one of the alien and otherworldly landscape that seem to be everywhere in the park. This dry lake bed, is now one of the more popular spots for photography in the park. The cracked earth, and salt formations make this a virtual playground for landscape photography. Every step unveils new and interesting compositions. While I wouldn’t want to be here in the summer….during the winter and spring…it’s quite pleasant. Funny to think that it’s almost 200 feet below sea-level.
