Mt. Shasta, California. In my opinion this is the best view of Mt. Shasta you can find. It requires a bit of a hike, and some scrambling on rocks…but the view is breathtaking. The light on the mountain is usually better in the evening…but on this morning the light, and the smoke from a forest fire created an almost surreal mood over the lake and mountain.
