Whiskeytown National Recreation Area. Finally captured a shot of lightning that I liked. It was tough, but I did it. I love the way the storm created this hot and cold atmosphere in the scene. It was great to watch, and even better to know I captured some memorable images. The bad part about lightning photography is that it can kill you. I always make sure I leave as soon as I can so I don’t risk getting hit.
