Davenport, California. One of my favorite stretches of California coastline is the area between Santa Cruz and Pacifica. The rock structures are just amazing, and I really love the way the light reflects off the light stone that comprises them. I could spend days just wandering this area in search of new and interesting compositions. I find photographing the ocean the most challenging of any area I photograph. There is always a larger element of danger when you’re near waves…but the possibility of getting something incredible is there as well.
