Yosemite National Park. Yosemite Falls is amazing to behold when it’s really flowing. However, it’s much more difficult to photograph when it is. Spray and water become an issue, and you spend more time cleaning your lens than taking photos. I prefer to photograph the falls in late winter, or fall (just after a good rain) The water flow isn’t as rough, and you’re able to pick your way around the falls and seek out just the perfect composition that demonstrates the size and power of this amazing waterfall.
