Aldeyjarfoss is one of Iceland’s most powerful and in my opinion best waterfalls. The power of this falls creates a tidal like surge as water churns violently around this secluded fall. I climbed down to a lower vantage point where waves 2-3ft high swished on rocks all around me. The basalt patterns in this location are also phenomenal. It truly is a wild place that captures the beauty of landscape photography in Iceland.
