Smith Rock Oregon. Smith Rock is a popular location for rock climbers all over the Pacific Northwest. It’s also a great location for photographers as well. This shot was taken after spending a very cold night in the back of my wife’s van with a fellow photographer, and two of my dogs. When we woke in the morning there was a half inch of ice on the INSIDE of the car. Thankfully a night of freezing was rewarded with this amazing sunrise.
