Clear Creek, Northern California. One of the hidden gems of Northern California is Clear Creek Recreation Area. Located just outside my home in Redding, California this little creek has become my safety valve. When the skies look nice, I can always make it here in minutes to photograph. While it would seem this area is in the middle of a rugged and wild countryside…it’s truly only minutes from civilization. I’ve only just begun to explore the canyon this creek runs through…but this area called ‘The Gorge’ is one of my favorites.
